    It's been close to six months since we opened the doors of our new Cotswold HQ. Now the dust has settled we are looking to strengthen the Bright Ideas team.

    We are particularly interested in candidates with prior experience of the promotional goods market and those with sales and business development experience.

    Getting stronger

    Bright Ideas, one of the UK’s leading promotional merchandise distributors and a specialist provider of merchandise to the Education sector, has taken further steps to strengthen its Cotswold base team.

    We are delighted to announce that we have recently recruited two incredibly talented individuals; Ann Genc and Patrycja Grycz.

    Ann has a wealth of customer facing experience and and will provide help and advice to customers across the organisation's range of products and services. Patrycja will support the accounts team as well as playing a key role in strengthening and professionalising our client communications.

    The latest recruits will enable the business to provide our customers with a first class service as well as strengthening our reputation for being easy to do business with.

    As the end of the year approaches we would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our clients and suppliers a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

    A big thank you to all our clients for entrusting us with the delivery of your many exciting projects, and to our suppliers for helping us to manage and invariably exceed client expectations.

    It's been one hell of a year. We've moved to fantastic new offices, have brought on board talented individuals and are now better placed than ever to support our loyal customers and deliver a great service. Rest assured, we won't rest on our laurels and will continue to build upon these foundations in 2018.

  • Bright Ideas opens new Cotswold HQ

    Bright Ideas, one of the UK’s leading promotional merchandise distributors and a Charter member of The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA), is delighted to announce the opening of their new Headquarters in the Cotswolds. The office officially opened on the 11th September 2017.

    The new premises are ideally configured to support the full service offering - and comprise of significant warehousing space, sat alongside professional offices in a beautiful location.

    “As we’ve grown, our clients have grown with us and we now stock and distribute merchandise for some of the UK’s leading brands. The move to our Cotswold HQ will enable Bright Ideas to provide our loyal clients with an enhanced full-service offering. From product sourcing and design, the creation of client branded web shops, through to storage, collation, picking and packing as well as national & global distribution”, commented Richard Gardiner, a Director of Bright Ideas.

    We’ve all the mod cons of a 21st century office. From client parking to conference and meeting rooms. The move represents a key milestone in the development of the business and will enable the team to provide a truly first-class service.

    It's good to be different

    When chosen wisely, merchandise for marketing campaigns can become the critical component, helping to breathe life into any campaign.
    Unfortunately, the merchandising element is often overlooked and rushed through as a bit of an afterthought.

    An excellent success story which clearly illustrates the creation of a well ‘thought-out’ and truly unique product is the development of our Bendy Men. Our client wanted to create a unique ‘giveaway’ with a distinct branding area that could be used to help support a variety of learning & development initiatives.     Right now, around 5000 refugees from war-torn and politically unstable countries remain 20 miles from the coast of Dover. They are subject to appalling conditions with little access to water, food or sanitation. Whilst on the ground support workers have been overwhelmed with the kindness and tenacity displayed by camp occupants we are of the opinion that no human should be made to live like this.     It’s great news. The team at Bright Ideas has successfully merged with its’ sister company TBGC (The Business Gift Company) – consolidating all merchandising activities under one roof.

    With effect from June 2016 the combined companies will conduct business together trading as Bright Ideas Promotional Products, operating from offices in Bristol and Birmingham.

    This is a merger of two well regarded British Promotional Merchandise Association Charter Distributors, with shared values and a history of successfully working together over the last 12 months.

    The rationale for the move is straight forward: to strengthen the core offering and to ensure that as an organisation we are able to provide our clients with a truly unrivalled service.
